Reflections
and Opinions will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the
Veterans' Peace Convoy to Nicaragua, an action that
resulted in a lawsuit against the Reagan Administration in
1988. Thanks to Texas Rural Legal Aid and some other
organization from New York for the legal process. The
lawsuit filed in Laredo District Court declared that the
President did not have the right to regulate humanitarian
aid.
